Start: 24 June 2019
End: 28 June 2019
Status: Confirmed
Timor-Leste

About This Event

The workshop is designed to evaluate suitability for implementation in CT6; assess country-specific needs and practices and adapt it into the chosen CDT system as part of the overall CT6 fisheries management process.

This workshop would also include the pre-Workshop (1-day for CT3 Pacific only), the Activity 1.3 Workshop (2 days, for all CT6) and a post-Workshop (1.5 day, for all CT6) proposed by USAID Oceans Project. Hence, the starting dates would be different for CT3 Pacific (24th June) and CT3-SEA (25th June) participants.

Objectives

The main objectives of this activity are: a. to enable CT6 member countries to understand how eCDT systems can support EAFM planning and enhance fisheries management, and b. to learn about existing eCDT systems that can be adapted and customized based on individual CT6 country needs.
