Hanung Cahyono
Hanung Cahyono is a seasoned government official with over thirty years of experience, specializing in law of the sea, fisheries law and governance, coastal zone management, and legal drafting. With a Bachelor's degree in Law from Diponegoro University and an LL.M. degree in maritime law from the IMO International Maritime Law Institute, Hanung brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table.
Throughout his career, Hanung has held various high-level positions within the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF) and the Ministry of State Secretariat of Indonesia. He has served as the Head of the Law of the Sea Division, overseeing legal affairs and institutional matters for projects such as the Coral Reefs Rehabilitation and Management Program (COREMAP). Additionally, Hanung has held the position of Assistant Deputy for Human Resources Development and Culture, where he was responsible for legal analysis, coordination, and support across multiple ministries.
Hanung's extensive experience also extends to international collaboration, where he has been involved in negotiations and implementation of projects such as the COREMAP Project and the CTI-CFF Regional Office infrastructure. He has represented Indonesia in various CTI-CFF meetings and international conferences, contributing to the design and implementation of plans to combat illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing.
With a strong background in legal matters, leadership, and resource management, Hanung is well-equipped to assume the role of Deputy Executive Director of Corporate Services. His ability to manage diverse teams, navigate complex legal issues, and ensure the implementation of effective solutions makes him a valuable asset to any organization.
